Corner Brick Repair at an Industrial Building
Deteriorated brick at a building corner was cut out, rebuilt and tied back into the wall at an operating industrial property.
Overview
The exposed corner of a brick industrial building had cracked and displaced masonry at the top courses, with the parapet coping loose above it. Gazelle scoped the repair, set up scaffold access and coordinated a masonry specialty subcontractor under our supervision, with the business inside operating throughout.
The Challenge
Corners carry two walls. The damaged courses had to be removed without loosening sound brick on either elevation, and the rebuild had to match the existing bond and coursing so the repair reads as part of the wall rather than a patch.
The Work
Scaffold was set at the corner, the loose coping and damaged brick were removed course by course, the corner was rebuilt with matching brick and new ties, and the joints were pointed to match. The coping was reset and sealed. Debris was removed daily so the loading area stayed open.
Where It Stands
The corner is structurally sound and visually continuous with the rest of the elevation. The repair was completed in June 2026.
