Excavation, footings and foundation walls for a 7,000+ sq ft custom home on Long Island’s North Shore, with Gazelle assisting the owner’s build.
Overview
Gazelle is assisting the owner of this custom-home build: lining up and coordinating subcontractors, checking the site, resolving field issues as they come up and sourcing materials. The project is presented as construction assistance, not as a Gazelle contract. Excavation began in late July 2026; footings and foundation walls followed through September and October.
The Challenge
Deep excavation in a wooded lot with a tight haul route, a large footprint to lay out accurately, and concrete pours that have to be scheduled around pump and truck access.
The Work
Excavation and spoil management; footing layout and forms; footing pours by concrete pump; foundation-wall forms set and poured. Gazelle helped the owner line up the subcontractors, supplies and site logistics; the trades performed the work.
